At the heart of Genesis Remote Health Care Solutions i.e our proprietary software engine GenCare.
GenCare is an open architecture software engine that supports the real-time streaming and remote viewing of raw and interpreted vital signs, a full-fledged DICOM based imaging platform, along with integrated real-time audio and visual communication. Patient data is centrally stored and retrieved from a secure data base server.
GenCare currently supports over 25 different medical device applications and several interpretation and treatment protocols.
GenCare operates off a standard 128 bit SSL encrypted Web Browser allowing for the real-time or store & forward transmission of all medical data. All data is made available from a Browser Based Electronic Medical Record. The EMR is customized to provide the Home User with graphs and charts of their vitals, including medical reminders, email, instant messenger and education capabiliites through a secure web-browser. Data Management Tools allow all physiological and wave-form data to be interpreted, trended, graphed, and made into a report. XML and HL7 export
tools allow data to be integrated into existing electronic medical records system (EMR).
The Genesis Home Health Care Solutions is highly scalable. To support more users, simply add another GenCare Server. To add a new capability, simply add another module. Everything runs from an enterprise server. This allows a healthcare enterprise to scale the telemedicine network without having to worry about inter-operability concerns. The way we accomplish this is by using a plug & play architecture utilizing industry standard interfaces that make use of various types of medical devices transparent to the overall system. By applying a centralized server-based architecture, Genesis allows patient medical data to be stored in a secure data room environment and then retrieved from any location using the ubiquitous and user-friendly browser access. This allows the ability to offer a Telehealth solution that is flexible, scalable and fully manageable utilizing in-expensive PC technology.
